To summon an account on ShriekedIn, you must:

• Not be previously banned from our platform (no zombie accounts!)

• Impersonates others (cosplay is fine, fraud is not)

You retain ownership of content you post. However, by posting, you grant ShriekedIn a worldwide, non-exclusive, royalty-free licence to use, display, and distribute your content on our platform. Don't worry - we won't sell your soul (that's your content, after all).

5. Intellectual Property

All content on ShriekedIn, including text, graphics, logos, and the "ShriekedIn" brand, is protected by copyright, trademark, and other intellectual property laws. The spectral designs and spooky features are our original creations (or properly licensed).

6. Privacy and Data Protection

We take your privacy seriously (even ghosts deserve privacy!). Our collection and use of personal data is governed by our Privacy Policy, which complies with GDPR and UK data protection laws.

7. Prohibited Activities

You shall not (and shall not permit others to):

• Use automated systems (bots, scrapers) without permission
• Attempt to gain unauthorised access to our systems
• Interfere with other users' enjoyment of the platform
• Use the service for any illegal purpose
• Reverse engineer, decompile, or disassemble our software
• Perform actual necromancy (keep it themed, folks!)

9. Termination

We reserve the right to suspend or terminate your account at any time for:

• Violation of these Terms
• Fraudulent, abusive, or illegal activity
• Extended periods of inactivity (no zombie accounts!)
• At our discretion, with or without cause

You may also delete your account at any time through your account settings. Goodbye doesn't have to be forever - you're welcome to haunt us again later!

10. Changes to Terms

We may update these Terms from time to time. Material changes will be notified through:

• Email notification to registered users
• Prominent notice on the platform
• Carrier raven (just kidding)

Continued use of ShriekedIn after changes constitutes acceptance of the new Terms.
